Steep

Tampere-based metal group Steep established its new line-up in the spring of 2002. Band´s first promo CD "Rearrange" was released in November 2002 and it immediately gained excellent reviews from the critics (e.g. Radio Mafia: Demo of the month, Radio Demo, Inferno Magazine: New talent).

The underground success continued with new MCD "Undisclosed", which was released in March 2004. At the same time, a new guitar player was recruited to the band.

In addition to radio play and interviews, Steep´s debut video "Complete Lack of Ideals and Integrity" was shot on a 0 € budget. In September 2004, the video roses to #1 of "Nordiska Videolistan" (Scandinavian Video List) TV show topping e.g. Nightwish, The Rasmus, and Nine. Steep´s second video called "Change" was shot in December 2004.

The band moved forward, and started recording their first full-length album in April 2005. In November, Steep signed a record deal with Dies Irae Records and the new album titled "Silence Is Not Golden" will be released in the beginning of the year 2006.
